Sausages and smiles at our summer barbecue

Sharing an interest in photography is a good reason to join the Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera Club, but there is also the added benefit of various social occasions.

During the summer break members have been keeping in touch with each other with weekly pub nights and, more recently, enjoyed a sunny evening barbecue at the Village Hall in Holcombe – where the club meets each Wednesday.

On the night there was plenty of chatter as people shared stories of their travels to places near and far and talked about new cameras and lenses that had been bought – all to capture that special shot.

The Camera Club starts again on Wednesday 2 October at Holcombe Village Hall with an interesting and exciting new programme - and new members are very welcome.

Before then, go and have a look around at the members’ photographs during their exhibition at TAAG (Teignmouth Arts Action Group), Northumberland Place, Teignmouth from Tuesday 24 September until Friday 4 October 2019.

Anyone who is interested in joining the club can come along and try it out for free for the first two sessions. You can contact us here if you have any questions.
