The exposure triangle

 

The most important part of getting control of your camera is understanding the exposure triangle. 

 

To get the right exposure for your image is a balancing act between APERTURE, SHUTTER SPEED and ISO.

Each of these settings affects the others. 

This is the foundation of photography, allowing us to control image brightness and achieve creative effects by balancing these three settings.

Understanding this relationship between these three settings allows us to make informed choices about how light affects our images, creating the desired look instead of relying solely on automatic settin​gs.
