Howard Sheard from the Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera Club achieved Third prize with his stunning image of Hong Kong harbour at night at the recent South Devon Photo League Inter Club Competition.
Howard, who lived in Hong Kong for 19 years, only joined the Club in September last year. He hadn’t entered his photos into competitions before so was delighted with his success – particularly as the scoring system used gave Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera Club an overall Third place in the competition against the other clubs of Newton Abbot, Exmouth and Crediton.
Having first been introduced to photography by his Dad who was also in a camera club, Howard went on to get involved with digital photography, pursuing his own interests in nature and landscapes, as well as studio and corporate work.
We welcome anyone with an interest in photography. See our calendar here.
