Members of Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club welcomed John Kelley, who had made the long journey from Bideford, to judge their first Monthly Competition of the new season.
John told the Club that his own interests were mainly street photography, landscapes and still-life, and that he particularly enjoyed working in monochrome.
He was presented with a wide variety of members' prints to appraise, including portraits, street, landscape, flowers, clowns, abstracts and still-life. He commented positively on every print, with a keen eye for detail, and with great humour, which kept members entertained as well as informed for the whole evening.
At the end of the evening he was thanked by Competition Secretary Dave Hutton and everyone in the club.
