This week members of Dawlish & Teignmouth Photographic Club were given the opportunity to learn more about the running of their club,
Committee members circulated and chatted about their roles inviting questions and encouraging others to maybe offer their services in the future.
This was followed by a showing of those same members of a selection of favourite images, why they were taken and what made them special.
Marc Dunlop then gave an in depth presentation on some of the 19th century photographers, what made them famous, their techniques and stories behind their pictures, some of which were not what they at first seemed. It appears that manipulation of images is an age old thing, just different ways in which to reach the desired result.
