A new season of photography

Updated: Oct 28, 2023

In the Teignmouth Gazette this week:

THE new season of the Dawlish & Teignmouth Photographic Club began with a lively show of photography covering many different genres.

Several members presented work taken over the summer break, talking about how they got their photos, the techniques used and why they took them, while also answering questions.

Then followed a welcome hot drink and snack plus some social time before the second part of the evening where members were treated to an entertaining presentation 'A day in town' covering some iconic London landmarks and many hidden treasures, often photographed in humorous and witty ways.

The club shares a love of images and enjoys good company. It is open to anyone with an interest in photography whether complete beginner or experienced pro, have lots of gear or a phone-camera in your pocket, or just love talking about photography.

The website contains a wealth of information including the upcoming programme with its wide variety of topics, speakers and practical evenings, much information about joining and a variety of galleries to inspire.
