With their customary enthusiasm Dawlish & Teignmouth Photographic Club staged the first
competition of the new season.
The competitive spirit of the members ensured a large number of entries, 73 in all, on a wide variety of subjects. The onerous task of judging fell to Chaz Madge, a long standing member of Exmouth camera club.
In black and white and colour the subjects ranged from beautiful landscapes, sporty action shots, stunning wildlife and abstract art.
Chaz gave a detailed appraisal of each image, focusing on the positive whilst offering tips on how a photo might be improved.
After much deliberation the photographers awarded the top marks were;
Highly commended; Sally Landberger, Bob Normand, Ken Holland, Debbie Ironside Smith
Bronze; Howard Sheard, Alex Rosen, Kevin Mc Donagh, Andrew Thompson, Sally Landberger
Silver; Alex Rosen, Eddie Holden, Naomi Stolow, Ken Holland, Debbie Ironside Smith
Gold ; Graham Eteson, Howard Sheard, Bob Kent
